Not sure about the rest of you, but I for one am glad the holidays are about over.  Maybe it’s the Winter weather, the ice and snow that I can’t shovel any longer.  My husband can barely get on the big tractor and remove all the snow from our driveway these days.  He doesn’t like the cold temperatures, either.  He’s nearly 72 and I can see why it is difficult for him to do the normal things he once did when we were younger.  Where have the years gone?  We just celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary!  When my mother inquired about my health yesterday, I told her everything hurts. . .the whole thing!  I have been thinking aging is not for the fainthearted, but I found a wonderful post in the writings of Frances Ridley Havergal today that greatly encouraged me.  You can read all about it here.
